Winona-Ryder
Winona Ryder, professionally Winona Ryder, was born on Winona Minnesota. Her parents named her after the town she grew up in. Michel Horowitz is her father as well as Cynthia Palmer is her mother. Ryder's father and mother are both Jewish. Ryder believes herself to be Jewish. Uria Ryder is her younger brother. Jubal, Sunyata and Sunyata are the half siblings of Ryder. Ryder along with her whole family moved to Mendocino County in California, when Ryder was seven. In Mendocino County, they did not have electricity. Ryder was a voracious reading book because there was no television. When she turned 12 Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. In the year she turned 15years old, Ryder was offered her very first role onscreen, playing Lucas. Ryder was bullied at high school. Her hope was that the acting profession would change the way she dealt with bullying. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. She continued to pursue her goals. Ryder made her breakthrough with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice in 1988. Ryder was later cast in successful roles. In 1993, she received an Oscar Awards for The Age of Innocence.
