Heidi Klum was conceived in the German city of Bergisch Gladbach on June 1, 1973. Erna Klum was Heidi's maternal grandmother was a professional hairdresser. Gunther Klim Her father was an director of a cosmetics company. Heidi's Dad was earlier an assistant to the production manager of the company 4711. She grew up in her hometown in Bergisch Gladbach a city of approximately 100,000 inhabitants just 6 miles from Cologne. She is a former German-American fashion model who now is a television host, producer and fashion designer.
